Hasselblad studio day

Today I was invited by Hasselblad to their "Studio Day" to work with their flagship camera the new HD3,
Hasselblad greeted me with a very warm reception and treated me to an incredible day.

The new HD3 is the most amazing camera I have had the pleasure to work with, I found it very user friendly
in addition I had the full compliment of lenses at my disposal, so the day was spent putting both camera
and lenses through their paces which proved faultless.

The day continued with extensive teaching of Hasselblads image capture software "Phocus" which opened my
eager eyes with limitless possibilities.

The power of both the HD3 combined with Phocus takes the "Im" out of possible and a total joy to work with
I think Hasselblad have out-done themselves, it makes one wonder how any future development could better
the perfection of the HD3.

One slight hiccup is price, but lets not spoil a perfect day talking money.

Fustion @ the Atrium

to start the year back in uni the design and promotion students put on a fashion show at the atrium the overall out come was very successful and the lines were of a outstanding standard as the students only had under a week to to promote and make the garments and i managed to get some good images to start the year on

Alex Latham french knickers & Hi-heels

this shoot was very inspiring creatively as i found the perfect model for the shoot/concept i chose to use alex as with her dark fechers were emphasized with the white tee n frenchies the location was at the glenmore hotel i chose this shoot 4 this location because of the vintage look i found with the intereia.

Audrey Hepburn

This shoot was shot in penarth kymin the theme was set not far from the center of cardiff and i was working on a concept of a modern Audrey Hepburn but as the way in influences and style took us thru-out the day their were a few that were leaning more towards the glam grunge but the image i have chosen here is my favorite for the reason of us keeping the Audrey Hepburn look.

CK Jeans

This shoot was a really good concept was for a charity event buy ck and the photos were used for promotional use
as you can sea i decided to use one of my top models charlotte wilcock and the use of a ring flash which gave a lovely halo effect that isused on the 2005 ck line promo shoots

froyds boutique

froyds boutique shoot was one of me personal favorite shoots i have done for the reason that i have wanted to photograph the miladi twins for qite a long time and the theme for this was bright couler and with the british wether keeping its reputation we used rain coats and umbrellas as a ascent theme. the second part of the shoot was a promotional images for a young designer with her up coming line for froyds boutique.
